VFX Runes - Unreal Engine 4

This Unreal project is an example of a flexible pickable game item that features interactive components. It can be customized directly in the scene without having to create individual variations in the content browser.

If features many controls such as a color parameter that will simultaneously change the rune material, the particles color and the point light color. The number of particles spawned is also available to tweak and the symbol can be changed via a component mask parameter.

Materials in this project features multiple UV distortion pannings, material functions, dynamic material parameters to allow animations via Niagara and in-engine masking techniques for more flexibility.
